Located right in the middle of Ocean Shores, the Canterbury Inn offers a place to relax in between excursions—to explore the town, the beach and the peninsula. We’re situated right along the Pacific Ocean, a walk down our dunes trail gives you access to miles of beach and sandy coastline.

Spring Break

Spring brings families to Canterbury for a chance to shake off the winter blahs and enjoy time together; beachcombing, biking, and vying for top honors in favorite family board games by the fire.

Summer

Summer, of course, means time on the beach, splashing, digging, exploring. The Canterbury's lawn is the scene of lively croquet games and barbeques. Then there's always kiting, biking, swimming, and exploring—plus just about anything you can think of doing on a summer day!

Fall

With school back in session, Fall offers a more relaxed tempo and a chance for more elbow room. With mild weather and smaller crowds, this is a favorite time to visit for many! 

Winter

This is when many of our regulars come to Ocean Shores for great storm watching. The south jetty offers a perfect vantage point to watch the incredible power of nature as gigantic waves come rolling in off the wild Pacific.

Holidays at Canterbury Inn

The holiday season is a great time to gather here with friends and family. Our full kitchens, full living spaces with flat-screen TVs, and fireplaces make for cozy gatherings. And holiday activities at Ocean Shores provide further entertainment.
